Our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Robert M. Freeny began his

public ministry in May 1994. He was later ordained in

April 1997. Pastor is the youngest of four children and

is himself a family oriented man. He is happily married

to his high school sweetheart and our lovely First Lady,

Kisha N. Freeny. He has two anointed and gifted children,

Kayla and Robert Michael whom he loves very much. 

         Pastor took over ministry duty at New Testament on

November 29, 2003 with only 13 original NT members and

a remnant of the Rhema Baptist Church of Chicago, which

he organized. Pastor attributes the success of his ministry

to the Grace and Mercy of God. In fact his favorite phrase

that he often uses is "To God be the glory for it all!".

Pastor Freeny received his Doctoral degree in Biblical studies

in August of 2008 to help further advance his already impressive knowledge and skill in the Word of God. Pastor is a very down to Earth man and preaches and teaches God's Word with simplicity and passion. His ministry is extremely diverse in its methods but without compromising the Master's Message of Grace and Salvation through the finished work of our Lord and Saviour Jesus the Christ.

         The diversity of the NT ministry is a direct result of Pastor's "do what you do" approach to it. He isnt one for strict adherence to failing traditional methods. In fact, his bold style of Pastoral leadership has a great appeal  to all generations especially to the young, as it is evident by the very youthful congregation.

         Pastor loves his church immeasurably as can be seen through his personal relationship with the members of NT. He has a great vision to improve the quality of life for each member of the NT family! As we continue to grow in the Word, we believe that God is going to further bless our church through the vision of our Pastor to the glory of our God! NT!
